Just over two weeks until the surgery... and I'm starting to get a little bit nervous. Long term this surgery is a good thing, but I'm busy! I don't want to be held back!
Steve flies into Vancouver on November 1st, and mom arrives the next afternoon. We've purchased risers for my bed, and I've rearranged a few things in the apartment to make things easier, but I don't even know what I'm going to need at this point. I'm expecting to spend 4 or 5 days in the hospital, but beyond that I'm not 100% sure what to expect.
I've popped my hip out a few times in the past week, and it's definitely not fun! Hopefully after the surgery the damn thing will stay where it's supposed to!
